"LIFE projects meeting". Thursday, May 21 in Collecchio (PR)
On 21st of May in Collecchio, for the European Day of the Natura 2000 network celebration, LIFE+ MGN attended a meeting of LIFE projects aimed at the conservation of species and river ecosystems.
The project partners of LIFE Conflupo and LIFE Barbie organized the event; Bruna Comini from ERSAF participated for LIFE+ MGN, who shared the experience gained during the project.
The event, which took place at the seat of the management organization for the parks and biodiversity of Emilia Occidentale, was aimed at promoting an exchange of good practice and to starting new synergies, amplifying the positive impacts of individual projects on the sites of the Natura 2000 network.
The meeting was addressed to the leaders and partners of major LIFE projects engaged on the issues of conservation of species and habitats in the river basin of the Po and in neighboring basins. On this occasion everyone presented his project, which was followed by a discussion about opportunities and problems encountered during the activity.
